- 1/2 cup (45g) Old-fashioned rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Milk of choice (dairy, oat, or soy)
- 1/3 cup (80g) Vanilla whole-milk Greek yogurt
- 1 small apple Sweet Honeycrisp or Gala apple, half grated & half diced
- 1 teaspoon (5g) Chia seeds or ground flaxseed
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) Pure maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
Cooking Instructions(tap to mark complete)
- In an 8oz or 12oz mason jar, add the rolled oats, chia seeds, and ground cinnamon. Stir together.
- Pour in the milk, vanilla Greek yogurt, and pure maple syrup.
- Grate half of the apple into the jar and stir vigorously until completely blended.
- Seal with the jar lid and place in the refrigerator overnight (or at least 5 hours).
- In the morning, top with the remaining freshly diced apple and an extra pinch of cinnamon.
- Pack into your child's lunchbox with an ice pack and a spoon for an effortless morning win!
