- 2 cups Whole wheat flour (or oat flour)
- 1 cup Rolled oats
- 1 cup Finely grated fresh carrots
- 1/2 cup Unsweetened applesauce
- 2 tablespoons Melted coconut oil

- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the grated carrots, applesauce, and melted coconut oil.
- Add the whole wheat flour and rolled oats to the wet mixture. Stir until a firm dough forms, adding a splash of water if it feels too dry.
- Roll out the dough to 1/4-inch thickness on a floured surface. Cut out shapes using cookie cutters (like bone or star shapes).
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
